About

World Consortium of Universities

WCU is institutionalized with the mission of interdisciplinary unification of education and research organizations, institutions, and universities across the world for facilitation of primary, secondary, and higher education within a culture of integrity and responsibility towards human kind.

World Consortium of Universities (WCU) provides a platform for mutual collaboration to education and research organizations, institutions, and universities for acceptance of credits, exchange of students, sharing of infrastructure, accreditation of academic programs, extension of business reach, and other jointly and well directed efforts for facilitation and promotion of education and research world-wide.

World Consortium of Universities (WCU) membership entitles its member institutions and organizations to the benefits of higher credit acceptability, global endorsement of reputation, deeper reach to student base world-wide, and better credibility across the globe.

WCU has been a joint attempt of multiple academic, research, and corporate organizations to bring on a single window a set of edited and consolidated information about academics and education for the use of scholars, teachers, policy makers, and other stakeholders in academics and research. The consortium has been brought on ground with the contributions of:

  • Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON), a Signatory to the UN Global Compact, Member of the UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development, Affiliate Member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), Co-Founder of the World Consortium of Universities (WCU), Member Strategic Forum of European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) and Advisory Council Member/Associate of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).
  • American Association for Higher Education & Accreditation (Formerly AAHE), one of the oldest not-for-profit associations in the United States dedicated to the advancement of higher education. The AAHEA has maintained continuous ties to the original AAHE incorporation that was founded in 1969 and is still working under the same 501-C3 Non-Profit Organizational Charter. AAHEA, in true meaning, has set the standards in higher education in its country and across the globe for 140 years through their research, publications, conferences, and partnerships, and this indeed makes us the leader in this effort.
  • The Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA - Nigeria), registered in line with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Acts (CAMA) 1990, as a Limited by Guarantee Corporate body for the purpose of promoting Management/Administrative standards and values in Nigeria. The Institute is also approved by the Federal Ministry of Education and Federal Ministry of Justice.
